- The word "relatable." I don't care what dictionary you found it in; I refuse to believe that it is a real word.
- The phrase "a prime example of..."
- The words "all of the sudden" seem to be popping up on television and in conversation. The correct wording is "all of a sudden."
- I have noticed in the last three years that many Sophomore students don't seem to understand the concept of a compound word. For example, often a student will place a space in words such as without (with out), which causes me to want to utter loud sounds at inappropriate moments in time.
- Another pet peeve of mine is the use of "should of" in the place of "should have."
